Integrated & interactive campaign for adidas running, created at HEIMAT Berlin. adidas wanted to underline its unique proximity and commitment to marathon running and all sportsmen determined to achieve something extraordinary. The highs and lows experienced by runners during a marathon were the subject of the «face of the marathon» initiative — focusing on the place where those experiences are most strikingly visible: in the faces of the runners. At the Berlin Marathon in September 2011, 15 participants were fitted with specially constructed cameras, enabling them to film themselves over the entire 42.195 km. The campaign ran in real time on the internet.
